Billing Policy: Thank You for choosing to use our online or automatic payment system. Once processed, all transactions are final.
If you choose to use our automatic payment system, we will charge or debit your payment from the credit or debit card or the bank account. If you set up automatic billing, billing and payments will be made automatically until cancel in accordance with our "POLICY FOR CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, ONLINE PAYMENTS AND AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS". Once set up, you may cancel at any time in accordance with our "POLICY FOR CREDIT CARD, DEBIT CARD, ONLINE PAYMENTS AND AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS". You will not be notified in advance of impending charges and payments.
Cancellation Policy for Auto Payments: You may cancel auto payment at any time. When you cancel, you cancel only future auto payments associated with your Self-Service Storage Rental Agreement, not one that has already occurred. All cancellations will become effective on the last day of the month that the cancellation is actually received. Cancellation may be made in one of two ways, (1) in-writing (cancellation will be effective on the day after it is actually received by us); or at any time on the Tenant Portal. Cancellation must be made at least one (1) working day prior to the start of a new billing cycle. If you fail to cancel auto payment at least one (1) working day prior to the start of a new month, your cancellation will become effective on the last day of the month of your next monthly billing cycle.
So there is no misunderstanding: (i) If you are planning to move: You must cancel auto payment prior to the start of the month you are planning to move because once processed, we will not refund any prepaid rent; and (ii) If you want to cancel your auto payment: You must cancel prior to the start of the month because once processed, we will not refund any amounts paid.
Refunds: Once processed, you will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. At your option, you may continue to have the same access and benefits of your unit for the remainder of the current billing period. We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit, we are under no obligation to issue the same or similar refund in the future.
